Broad Ripple Village (Indiana) may be well known for their bar and nightlife scene but when it comes to food offerings, that is a category where they are very underrated. Broad Ripple has something for everyone,  both entertainment wise and when it comes to food. If you are in the Indianapolis area, make sure to check out these five hot spots.

Boogie Burger

Boogie Burger just recently re-located to a bigger restaurant that seats about 50-60 people in comparison to the old joint that only had about four tables total. Known for their juicy burgers and hard-to-beat ice cream treats, Boogie Burger retains their reputation of having top quality food for a reasonable price. It is a favorite for college students around the area so go ahead and give Boogie Burger a try!

Broad Ripple Bagel Deli

Broad Ripple Bagel Deli is conveniently located on the strip and serves up the best breakfast foods that the little town can offer. They have a wide variety of food and bagels – ranging from breakfast to veggie sandwiches. If you are looking for a healthy meal to start the day, look no further than Broad Ripple Bagel Deli.

Yats

If you are looking for very cheap Cajun deliciousness, do not look further than 54th and College. Walking into the restaurant, one would think that they just transported to New Orleans in the 1960s. Don’t fear, you are still in the same time and place and the food is still as great as it was back then. The go-to entrée is definitely the “Chili Cheese Etoufee with Crawfish” but if seafood is not your cup of tea, they usually have other plates which change day-to-day. You can even get a free sample of their plates before you buy so you know you won’t be disappointed after you order.

La Piedad

This is also a favorite for locals because of the authentic Mexican food that is served at this restaurant. They also have delicious Margaritas that will have you begging for more until you can’t stand up anymore. They are known for their reasonably fast service and the stellar atmosphere. The back patio is the place to be during the warm summer nights too.

Bazbeaux Pizzeria

Although they do not deliver to many areas, Bazbeaux is still one of my favorite pizza places. They have a wide variety of pizzas to choose from and you can customize your order in whatever way will please your appetite. Like La Piedad, the atmosphere of this restaurant is enticing enough where you will feel like you are in an authentic Italian restaurant. You’ll pay as much as you would for a decent size pizza at Papa Johns or Pizza Hut except you will get a lot more and the flavors are much juicier.
